Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy

The Journal of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (JITCAI) is a Gold Open Access journal committed to making high-quality scholarly research freely accessible to readers worldwide immediately upon publication.

To support editorial management, peer review administration, production, online hosting, DOI registration, digital preservation, and long-term maintenance of the journal, JITCAI charges a modest Article Processing Charge (APC).

Article Processing Charge

  • Publication Fee: USD $50.00 (payable only after final acceptance)

Authors are not required to pay any fee when submitting a manuscript. The APC is requested only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review, has been formally accepted for publication, and enters the production stage.

Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated solely on their scholarly quality, originality, technical merit, and relevance to the journal's scope through an independent peer review process.

APC Waiver Policy

JITCAI recognizes that financial circumstances may vary among researchers. Requests for a full or partial APC waiver may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Waiver requests should be submitted to the Editorial Office before or during the peer review process and must include sufficient justification. Approval of a waiver is entirely at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief and is based on the journal's available resources and established editorial policies.

The granting or denial of an APC waiver has no influence on editorial decisions, peer review, or publication outcomes.

Refund Policy

Because editorial, production, and publishing services begin immediately after acceptance, Article Processing Charges are non-refundable once payment has been received and production has commenced.

Payment

Authors will receive payment instructions after their manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. Payment must be completed before the article is scheduled for publication.

Open Access Commitment

All articles published in JITCAI are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication without subscription or access restrictions.

Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, allowing users to read, download, copy, distribute, reproduce, adapt, and reuse the work for any lawful purpose, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.
